A major raison d'etre of Cambridge CC is to promote and participate in cycle racing. Like most clubs in the UK, racing tends to revolve around road races (mass start races) and time trials (individuals against a clock). A number of members regularly take place in track racing, indeed the club now has its own championship track day. Mountain bike racing is also becomming more popular. As well as the racing, there are a number of training rides to enhance race fitness.
The club is particularly proud that in 2001 it hosted the RTTC 25mile National Championships. In addition two other open time trials and a road race were promoted by the club. In a normal year the club runs two open time trials and a road race.
See our program of events at the club's calendar.
