Beginner's Rides

Sporting Clubrun

Sporting Plus Clubrun

  • There will be a cafe stop at about half-distance.
  • This run may merge with the Sporting Clubrun, depending on who attends.
  • This group is for hard nuts and although the intention is to ride as a group, the other riders may be in the 'Zone' and not realize someone is a puncture victim, weak rider etc (be warned)
  • Over the last 10Km on the way back to Cambridge the ride may get significantly faster (riders get frisky) and the group may split leaving riders to do the final few Km in smaller groups or on their own.

  • This is a ride for experienced riders only. Please only join this ride if you can ride comfortably with the Sporting or Sporting Plus rides.
  • There may not be a cafe stop.
  • Weaker riders may get left behind!
  • Usually the group will stop for punctures or mechanical problems, but not always.
